Black Friday is my Super Bowl.
Since I was a wee capitalist, I’ve always loved Black Friday. It was the closest we ever came as a society to legalizing and implementing The Purge and all for an 80% discount. I’ll never forget the rush of reading through the newspaper to find out what the door-busters were.
The idea of going Black Friday shopping was thrilling to me. A fight to the death for a laptop that no one should own anyways. The cheapest crockpot you’ve never owned because they only had 3 in inventory.
Getting to stay up all night after eating the best meal of your life was just the icing on top of the cake. But after the recession of ‘08 came to a close, so did the grandeur of all the sales.
It’s still my favorite consumer event of the year though, and for that reason I’m offering my newsletter subscribers a personal Black Friday shopping session with me. Just reply to this email and tell me what you are shopping for, and I’ll do my best to find the deal of a lifetime.
Looking for a tv? I’ve got three bookmarked already just tell me what size you need. Looking for a new iPad? I’ve got credit card point recommendations for you. Want a laptop? Tell me the budget and I’ll find one.
Zine 2 is in production, but I need to sell 30 in order for it to be actually printed.
I will send over more details about what it’s about this quarter next week. But it’s free shipping AND the theme is on community and belonging
P.S. There’s an advice column in this zine, so if you want bad advice or want to make something up or submit anything, just reply to this email and I will write advice for the advice column of the zine.
