Reparations For My
Childhood Trauma
Hi sweetie baby,
Sometimes you have to call in the repayment of the childhood trauma. That is exactly what I did this weekend. I called in the parents. They planned a trip up to REDACTED, North Carolina to visit me and spend time with me and Ernie.
Little did they know I took time to pack the weekend full of home renovation projects that they would be forced to help me complete. They also didn't know that Ernie would be gone for most of the time they were in town.
We spent the weekend lifting my bed up and down to lay out a rug that's been by the front door for 6 months, building a shed in my back yard, and taking everything out of my office to build a home studio for a project I will talk about next week.
The lesson I learned this weekend is that home renovation projects are fun and that we should all be asking our parents for more help. I don't think asking your parents for help with home renovation projects is a universally smart idea, but maybe test the waters by asking them for money first. I also learned that three projects in two days is really tiring and I will probably not do it again.
With that being said, if you are in a no contact scenario with your parents feel free to ask me to help you with something. I love helping my friends and if I don't want to I will say no happily!
Reply and let me know what project in your house you've been putting off for an obscenely long time! I'd love to feel like I'm not alone in this feeling.
Just a short this week!
more long videos next week!
